Ashley Hamilton is currently the Director - Clinical Scientist at AstraZeneca. They previously held roles as a Research Assistant and PhD student at the University of Glasgow, where they focused on the Bcr-Abl expression in chronic myeloid leukaemia and contributed to developing clinical trials. Prior to AstraZeneca, they worked as an Investigator and Scientific Leader at GSK, and served as a Research Fellow at Cancer Research UK, investigating the interactions between acute myeloid leukaemia cells and the bone marrow microenvironment. Ashley completed a research internship at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, exploring the interaction between StIP1 and c-Abl. They continue to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Immunology and a Ph.D. in Haematology at the University of Glasgow.
