Ashley Tate

Ashley Tate is an experienced professional in global project and program management, currently serving as Associate Director of Global Project Management at AstraZeneca since September 2025. Previously, Ashley held roles at Pioneering Medicines and Flagship Pioneering as Associate Director in Program Management and Alliance Management. At Sana Biotechnology, Inc., from April 2021 to January 2024, Ashley was responsible for cross-functional management of research and pre-clinical stage cell and gene therapy programs, working closely with various functional leads to drive program strategy and ensure efficient progression. Prior experience includes conducting Huntington's Disease research at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Ashley holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Society from Cornell University.
