Bader Zarrouki currently serves as Senior Director of in vivo pharmacology and Project Leader for Diabetes, Obesity, and NASH at AstraZeneca, a position held since February 2014, following roles as Director and Principal Scientist in the same field. Previously, Bader Zarrouki worked as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Montreal Diabetes Research Center from November 2008 to January 2014, where research focused on beta-cell mass adaptation and failure in rodent models of gluclipodysfunction, supported by fellowships from Eli Lilly Canada and Merck-Frosst. Additionally, Bader Zarrouki was a Temporary Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at University Claude Bernard Lyon 1. Educational credentials include a PhD in Biochemistry from University Claude Bernard Lyon 1/INSA Lyon and a Master’s degree in Cellular Biology and Physiology from the University of Burgundy.
