Barbara Płonka

Barbara Płonka is currently the Associate Director of AI & Emerging Technologies Procurement at AstraZeneca, a role they began in 2023. Previously, they worked at Shell as a Senior IT Buyer and as an IT Buyer, managing end-to-end sourcing processes and collaborating with various stakeholders from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2017, Barbara served as a Procurement Specialist at Aon Hewitt, where they managed contracts and purchase orders for UK stakeholders. Barbara also holds a Master's degree in Public Economy and Administration from Krakow University of Economics, complemented by a Business Management program at L'Universite Catholique de Lyon in 2011.
