Ben Graham

Ben Graham is a Senior Scientist at AstraZeneca since August 2021, leading projects in the oncology 'Tumour Targeted Delivery' medicinal chemistry team focused on developing next generation antibody drug conjugates. Prior to this role, Ben served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology at UCL from July 2019 to August 2021, contributing to the design and synthesis of innovative antiviral drugs for HIV under the guidance of Professor David Selwood. Ben's early experience includes an Industrial Placement at Johnson Matthey from August 2013 to September 2014, where involvement in the Surface Chemistry team and the Catalysis and Chiral Technologies team led to expertise in X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy and catalytic synthesis. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Warwick (2015-2019) and an MChem in Chemistry with a Year in Industry from the University of Reading (2011-2015).
