Benjamin Georgi

Benjamin Georgi is currently a Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca, specializing in computational genomics, bioinformatics, machine learning, and statistics. They previously held positions as a Research Scientist at Bayer and Bayer HealthCare, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. Benjamin earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioinformatics from Freie Universität Berlin, where they also completed a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field. Their research experience includes roles at the Max-Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics and contributions as a Graduate Research Assistant.
