Bill Cook, PhD, is an experienced Senior Global Medical Affairs Leader with extensive expertise in medical strategy development and clinical research. Since joining AstraZeneca in 2005, Bill has played pivotal roles in various projects, including AIRSUPRA, Tezepelumab, and Fasenra, focusing on medical launch execution, clinical practice change, and global strategic planning for clinical studies. Previously, Bill held the position of Director of Clinical Research at MedImmune, where responsibilities included the design and execution of cardiovascular and metabolic clinical programs. Academic credentials include a PhD in Cell & Molecular Biology from Northwestern University, an MS in Biology from Texas Tech University, and a BA in Physics from Baylor University.
