Birgit Weinkauf

Birgit Weinkauf is the Director of Statistical Standards at AstraZeneca, where they oversee the development of innovative statistical methods and foster collaboration among teams to enhance the efficiency of medication availability. Prior to this role, Birgit held various positions in biostatistics, including Principal Biostatistician at UCB and Senior Biostatistician at SCHWARZ Biosciences GmbH. Birgit also has experience as a statistician at Novartis Pharma GmbH and the University of Dresden, contributing to clinical studies across multiple therapeutic areas. They began their career as a trainee at the Institute for Medical Biometry and Statistics in Freiburg and are currently pursuing a Diploma in Statistics at Technische Universität Dortmund.
