Brendan Leighton

Brendan Leighton is a Network Partner at The Research Network, where they provide scientific consultancy and project management for pharmaceutical R&D. They have been a Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca R&D since 2005, coordinating bioscience activities in Diabetes drug discovery. Prior to this, Brendan held several academic positions, including Senior Research Fellow and Departmental Lecturer at the University of Oxford, where they made significant contributions to diabetes research and published over 75 peer-reviewed articles. Brendan completed their Ph.D. in Biochemistry at The University of Manchester in 1984.
