Carl Simon

Carl Simon is a Director and Clinical Scientist in the Cell Therapy Unit of Oncology R&D at AstraZeneca, a position held since 2021. Previously, Carl worked as a Clinical Trial Lead at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research from 2016 to 2021 and as a Project Manager at Tensha Therapeutics, Inc. from 2014 to 2016. Carl also gained valuable experience as a Project Specialist at Boston Biomedical Associates between 2013 and 2014, and held research roles at Harvard University and McLean Hospital from 2010 to 2013. Carl holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Harvard Extension School, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Saint Anselm College.
