Caterina Tozzi

Caterina Tozzi holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics and has developed a robust analytical and numerical background through nearly five years of doctoral and post-doctoral research. Caterina's experience includes working as a Senior Data Scientist at AstraZeneca since 2023, and previously as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology, where they focused on disease progression and treatment efficacy in immunotherapy studies. Prior to that, Caterina contributed as a Postdoc at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, applying theoretical and numerical models in molecular and cellular biology. Their educational journey includes a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Master's in “Modelling and simulation for biomedical applications” from Università di Camerino and Università di Trento, respectively.
