Dr. Catherine Barnes is a Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs Director with extensive experience leading teams in drug development and regulatory strategy. At GlaxoSmithKline Pharma GmbH, they served as the Technical Matrix Leader for HIV Medicines and later as the Medicines Process and Delivery Leader, overseeing the technical leadership for biopharmaceutical and chemical medicines. They also worked as a Senior Regulatory Project Manager at Roche before taking on roles as CMC Regulatory Affairs Director at Freeline and currently at AstraZeneca. Dr. Barnes is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Manufacture and Product Characterisation from UCL.
