Catherine McCarthy Bragg

Catherine McCarthy Bragg, PhD, possesses extensive experience in scientific content and research roles across various organizations. Beginning as a Post-doctoral Assistant at the University of Basel from January 2000 to January 2002, Catherine transitioned to Evotec drug discovery as a Senior Research Scientist from January 2002 to 2004. Following this, a significant tenure at Ashfield MedComms, an Inizio Company, spanned from September 2004 to January 2023, culminating in the position of Senior Scientific Content Director. Notably, Catherine held editorial roles at GCC/KP360/Ashfield and served a secondment at AstraZeneca as Global Publications Lead for NOVELTY and SYMBICORT from October 2021 to July 2022. Currently, Catherine serves as Global Publications Director in the R&I department at AstraZeneca since January 2023. Educational qualifications include a 1st class degree in Chemistry and a PhD from The University of Manchester, as well as A' levels in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from Holy Cross College.
