Challey Byrnes

Challey Byrnes possesses extensive experience in learning and development, currently serving as a Learning and Development Manager at AstraZeneca since March 1997. In this role, Challey leads the analysis, development, implementation, and assessment of learning programs aimed at enhancing the product and scientific capabilities of the Medical Affairs functional area, while ensuring alignment with AstraZeneca's business and strategic objectives. Prior experience includes serving as an Instructor in the Instructional Systems Program at Penn State Great Valley from January 1996 to December 1997, where Challey designed and taught graduate-level courses in Systematic Instructional Design and related topics. Challey's tenure as a Training Manager at Premier Solutions from June 1995 to March 1997 involved conducting needs assessments and delivering performance improvement solutions, including the establishment of new hire orientation programs and a corporate wellness program. Challey holds a Master of Education in Instructional Systems from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English/Communications from Albright College.
