Cheryl Brighton

Cheryl Brighton is a Senior Scientist at AstraZeneca, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Scientist and a Senior Scientist at Sosei Heptares from 2017 to 2021. Cheryl also served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and a PhD researcher at the University of Cambridge from 2016 to 2017. Their early experience includes positions as a Medical Research Intern at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in 2010 and 2011, respectively. Cheryl completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and Master of Research (MRes) at the University of Cambridge from 2013 to 2016 and 2012 to 2013, following their Master's degree from the University of Bath from 2008 to 2012.
