Chris Ambrose, M.D., M.B.A., is the Franchise Head for US BioPharmaceuticals Medical in Respiratory at AstraZeneca. With over 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, Chris has specialized in medical affairs, clinical development, and brand management focused on severe asthma, influenza, RSV, vaccines, and monoclonal antibodies. Previously, Chris held various leadership roles at MedImmune, including Senior Associate in Clinical Development, and contributed significantly to phase II, III, and IV studies as well as brand repositioning initiatives. In addition to their role at AstraZeneca, Chris serves as an Associate Editor for "Therapeutic Advances in Vaccines," overseeing manuscript reviews and expert consultations. Chris earned an MD from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and an MBA in Strategy from the Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management.
