Christopher Kourra

Christopher Kourra is an Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca, focusing on PROTAC chemistry in Discovery. They have extensive experience in organic and bio-organic chemistry, having previously worked as a Process Development Chemist at Aptuit, where they contributed to API development and received the Aptuit Scientific Excellence Award in 2017. Christopher completed a PhD in Chemistry at EPFL and holds an MChem with first-class honors from the University of Oxford. At AstraZeneca, they lead a team of scientists in advancing automated synthetic chemistry methodologies.
