Clare Hoover

Clare Hoover, DVM, PhD, DACVP, serves as the Director of Pathology at AstraZeneca, a position they have held since 2022 after serving as Associate Director from 2018 to 2022. Clare's academic background includes a PhD in Pathology from Colorado State University, where they also completed a T32 Fellowship and worked as a Post-doctoral fellow investigating prion diseases. Additionally, Clare has experience as a Veterinary Anatomic Pathology Resident and has contributed to the education of veterinary students. Clare earned a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Washington and Lee University and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University.
