Connor Yap

Connor Yap is a Patent Attorney at AstraZeneca since February 2023, responsible for developing and executing intellectual property strategies for pre-clinical and clinical assets in oncology, cardiovascular, renal, and infection therapeutic areas. Prior experience includes roles as a Trainee Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney at Sagittarius IP from October 2018 to August 2022, where involvement encompassed drafting and prosecuting patent applications for chemical and pharmaceutical innovations. Connor Yap holds a PGCert in Intellectual Property Law with distinction from Queen Mary University of London, a PhD in Sustainable Chemistry from the University of Nottingham, and an MSci in Chemistry with First Class Honours from Queen's University Belfast.
