Danail Rusev is an Agile Commercial Leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare sectors. Currently serving as the Franchise Lead for Respiratory & Immunology Inhaled at AstraZeneca, Danail previously held various sales and marketing roles at GSK and served as National Sales Manager at Mundipharma and Boehringer Ingelheim. Danail also led Operational Excellence for Novartis in Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Malta. They hold a Master's degree in Pharmacy from Medical University - Sofia and an MBA from the University of National and World Economy, along with additional executive coursework from SDA Bocconi and IE Business School. Danail is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at both the University of York and the University of Strasbourg.
