Daniel Maddox

Daniel Maddox is an Associate Principal Scientist on the iLAB Chemistry Automation Team at AstraZeneca, where they focus on automating the synthesis of molecules to accelerate drug discovery processes. Previously, they served as an Associate Principal Scientist at Vernalis from 2009 to 2023, contributing to various projects involving kinase targets and championing new technologies like flow chemistry. Daniel began their career with a summer placement as a Formulator at Reckitt Benckiser in 2008 and earned an MChem in Chemistry from the University of York in 2010.
