Daniel O'Neill is currently the Associate Director of Cell Engineering and Biology at AstraZeneca, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, Daniel served as Associate Principal Scientist and Senior Research Scientist at AstraZeneca between 2020 and 2022. Daniel completed their PhD in Cancer and Molecular Biology at Newcastle University from 2010 to 2014, following a BSc in Pharmacology from The University of Edinburgh, where they graduated with first-class honors in 2010. Additionally, Daniel participated in a research project at Saarland University in 2010, focusing on enzyme characterization related to natural product biosynthesis.
