Daniel Simmons, PharmD MS RPh, is currently the IO Lung Asset Lead (Director) in Oncology Outcomes Research at AstraZeneca, a position held since 2023. Previously, Daniel served in multiple roles at AstraZeneca, including Director of US Oncology Health Economics and Outcomes Research and Associate Director in the same field. Daniel's experience also includes internships and externships at various institutions, such as The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies and Venrock, where they focused on health economics and outcomes research. Daniel earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from Rutgers University-New Brunswick and a Master of Science in Health Outcomes, Policy, and Economics from Rutgers.
