Daniel Smedley, MBA, CPA, CMA, is currently the Vice President of Innovation, Business Excellence, and IT (Canada) at AstraZeneca. They have extensive experience in finance, having served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance, Information Technology, and Legal for Canada at AstraZeneca and held multiple senior finance roles at Baxter International Inc. earlier in their career. Additionally, Daniel is active on the advisory board of The CFO Leadership Council and has contributed as a board member for the Canadian Pharmaceutical Distribution Network. Daniel holds a Master of Business Administration from DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with a minor in Business at McMaster University.
