Daniel Taylor is currently the Head of Digital Science at AstraZeneca, where they are accountable for the creation and execution of the late-stage pharmaceutical development digital science strategy. Previously, Daniel held several key positions at AstraZeneca, including Global Insight Director and Head of Business Intelligence, leading data analytics and quality performance initiatives across the global Operations footprint. Daniel has a strong background in chemistry, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Environmental Chemistry from the University of Southampton, and is an accredited Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with extensive experience in driving digital transformation projects in the pharmaceutical R&D sector. Earlier in their career, Daniel worked at Sanofi as a Quality Assurance – Quality Control professional and an Analytical Chemist.
