Daniela Später

Daniela Später is currently the Scientific Lead for Cardiac Disease and Cardiac Regeneration and an Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca. They completed their PhD at the Research Institute of Molecular Pathology from 2002 to 2006 and pursued postdoctoral research at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Harvard Stem Cell Institute from 2007 to 2013. Daniela held the position of Team Leader for in vivo studies in Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Regeneration at AstraZeneca from 2014 to 2015, after earning a diploma in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Tuebingen. Their academic journey began at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, where they completed a pre-diploma in Biology.
