Dave Schnell

Dave Schnell, PhD, is a Field Scientific Training Director in Oncology Medical Affairs at AstraZeneca, where they support physician education and clinical development for gastrointestinal and genitourinary malignancies. Previously, they served as a Medical Science Liaison and Senior Medical Science Liaison, contributing to the launch of multiple FDA indications for cancer treatments. Dave earned a PhD in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Kentucky, where their research focused on cancer biology and metabolic processes. Additionally, they have experience as a consultant in exomedicine and as an adjunct instructor, emphasizing critical thinking in education. Outside of work, Dave enjoys mountain biking and playing guitar.
