David Buttar

David Buttar is a Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca, where they have been employed since 2014, focusing on computational chemistry within the Predictive Pharmaceutics team. They previously served as a Research Fellow at the University of Bath and the University of Warwick, where they conducted advanced research on quantum-chemical methods and the reaction dynamics of chemical species. With over 20 years of industrial experience, David has made significant contributions as a Computational Chemist at Zeneca/Avecia, supporting diverse projects across multiple industries. David holds a B.Sc. (Hons) and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow.
