David Cross

David Cross is the Global Quality Director and Qualified Person at AstraZeneca, a position held since 2020. Prior to this role, they gained extensive experience at AstraZeneca R&D, where they served in various capacities such as Senior Analytical Chemist and Clinical Trials Supply Programme Coordinator, starting in 1998. They also worked at Novartis as an Analytical Technical Support Chemist from 1997 to 1998. David holds a First Class BSc(Hons) in Chemistry and Biology from York St. John College, a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Bath, an MSc in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Aberdeen, and a Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction in Industrial Pharmaceutical Studies from the University of Brighton.
