David Ginkel is currently the Global Head of Publications BPM at AstraZeneca, a position held since 2021. Previously, they held various leadership roles at AstraZeneca from 2010 to 2014, including Sr. Global Medical Affairs Leader for BRILINTA and Head of Strategic Planning Global GMA, among others. Before joining AstraZeneca, Ginkel worked as an Analyst at TNS Healthcare from 1998 to 2000 and served as a Clinical Researcher at the University of Texas Southwestern from 1990 to 1992. Ginkel earned a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Iowa and a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, along with an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
