David Strachan

David Strachan is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and finance roles across various companies, including Schlumberger and AstraZeneca. They began their career as a VAT Accountant and progressed to leadership positions, such as Regional Segment Team Lead and Finance Director, where they have demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, team management, and process improvements. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Robert Gordon University and is a member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Currently, they serve as the Finance Director for R&D in Respiratory and Immunology at AstraZeneca.
