David Wood is currently the Financial Controls Assurance Director at AstraZeneca and serves as the Head of Enterprise Risk, Business Resilience, and Non-Financial Control. Prior to joining AstraZeneca in 2016, they worked as a Senior Audit Manager at KPMG LLP from 2008 to 2016. David holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Sheffield University, earned between 1999 and 2002, and they attended Sir John Deanes Sixth Form College and Frodsham High School.
