David Workman

David Workman is an Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca, where they focus on the characterization of nanoparticles, peptides, and nucleic acids, particularly in the delivery of preventive and curative active compounds. Previously, David worked as a Senior Scientist at AstraZeneca and as a Chemist at Onyx Scientific Ltd, leading projects in synthetic chemistry and active pharmaceutical ingredient development. They also served as a Research Associate at University College London, specializing in bio-active protein-polymer conjugates, and conducted research as a Postgraduate Researcher at Northumbria University, where they earned a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry. David holds a Master of Chemistry with First Honors from Northumbria University.
