Derek Badger is a public affairs leader with extensive experience in life sciences. Currently serving as an MBA Major Projects Advisor at Royal Roads University and a Senior Manager for Payer Engagement and Strategic Partnerships at AstraZeneca, they have a strong background in strategic partnerships across government, academia, and industry. Derek previously held roles including Community Relations Manager and Government Affairs Manager for Western Canada at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, and worked as a Legislative Assistant at the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.
