Devan Patel

Devan Patel is a self-employed teacher and mentor since August 2016, specializing in helping high school students enhance their subject knowledge and self-confidence. Recently completed an internship as a BioPharmaceutical Formulations Intern at AstraZeneca, achieving significant advancements in rapid, ultra-low-volume Hydrogen-Deuterium Exchange. Devan's previous experience includes roles as a BioPharmaceutical Development Co-Op and Scientist, focusing on formulation development and analytical techniques. Devan served as a teaching assistant for Transport Phenomena I and Organic Chemistry Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University and has a rich research background at Gracias Laboratory, contributing to the fabrication of synthetic organoids. Devan Patel holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in the same field, with exceptional academic performance reflected in a 4.0 GPA for the master's program and a 3.98 GPA for the bachelor's program.
