Dim Velkov Tonev

Dim Velkov Tonev has 25 years of experience in Hepatology and Virology clinical development, specializing in drug development for liver diseases and chronic viral infections. They currently serve as a Hepatology/Virology Consultant at AstraZeneca and work as an Independent Consultant at Tonev Research. Dim also has expertise in non-invasive diagnostic tools for liver inflammation and fibrosis, along with experience in the launch and commercialization of treatments for diseases such as HIV, HCV, and HBV. They earned their degree from Sofia Medical Academy between 1987 and 1993.
