Doris Simcich

Doris Simcich is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operational excellence and IT leadership. Currently serving as Global Senior Director of Operational Excellence and Head of IT for AstraZeneca, Doris is responsible for driving IT strategy, business partnering, and technology advancement in Canada. Prior to this, Doris led strategic initiatives at RBC, oversaw global parts operations at Husky Injection Molding Systems, and held significant roles at GE focusing on IT and crisis management. Doris’s education includes an Executive MBA from Ivey Business School, a certificate in Strategy and Entrepreneurialism from the Rotman School of Management, and a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo. Doris also contributes to the academic field as a guest lecturer in Information Technology at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa.
