Dr. Mark E. Milburn

Dr. Mark E. Milburn is the Global Lean Director at AstraZeneca, where they champion enterprise-wide digitalization and Lean initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency in the biopharmaceutical sector. Prior to this role, Dr. Milburn held various leadership positions, including Managing Director at Faurecia and President of Implemented Solutions, where they drove significant operational improvements and business transformations. They earned an MBA from Durham University Business School and a PhD from Newcastle University, specializing in Leadership and Organizational Culture. Dr. Milburn is a Dual US and UK Citizen and a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, trained in Japan.
