Duncan Young

Duncan Young is an experienced professional in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Executive Director of Search and Evaluation in Oncology Business Development at AstraZeneca since October 2023. Previously, Duncan held significant roles at AstraZeneca, including Senior Director and Associate Director positions focused on search, evaluation, and strategic partnerships in Oncology R&D. Duncan's expertise in business development was further demonstrated as Head of Business Development at Redx Pharma and as a Business Development Manager at MRC Technology. In addition to these roles, Duncan has contributed to the academic sector as a mentor for life science startups at the Cambridge Judge Entrepreneurship Centre. Educational credentials include a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, complemented by leadership and finance training from Cambridge Judge Business School.
