Ella O'Connell

Ella O'Connell is the current Medical Ethics Lead at AstraZeneca, where they focus on the ethical considerations in medical practices. Previously, they served as a Healthcare Compliance Specialist at Alexion Pharmaceuticals and as a Medical Advisor at Biogen, specializing in biosimilars. Ella began their career as a Pre-registration Pharmacist at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and has worked in various pharmacy roles, including as a Clinical Pharmacist at The National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery. They hold a Master of Sciences of Pharmacy with First Class Honours from the University of East Anglia and an MSc in Advanced Pharmacy Practice with Distinction from UCL.
