Elpida Tsonou

Elpida Tsonou is a Senior Scientist at AstraZeneca with a diverse background in molecular biology, cell biology, neuroscience, cancer research, and metabolism. Having completed a PhD at the University of Cambridge and a Research Masters at the University of Manchester, Elpida has developed expertise in various research methodologies, including CRISPR technology and insulin signaling pathways. Prior experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Babraham Institute and a Research Scientist at Horizon Discovery, where Elpida focused on KRAS dependency in colon cell lines. Currently, Elpida aspires to leverage their research skills to enhance disease understanding and develop new diagnostic tools and treatments.
