Eric Beard

Eric Beard has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Director of CMC Regulatory Affairs at AstraZeneca since September 2016, following roles as Associate Director and Senior Manager in the same department. Previously, Eric held various positions at MedImmune from November 2007 to September 2016, including Senior Manager of Analytical Process Characterization and Manager of Research and Development. Eric began the career in technical services at MedImmune FMC and worked earlier as a Virology Assay Consultant at MedImmune UK. Prior experience also includes a position as a Biologist at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. Eric holds a Master's degree in Advanced Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University and dual bachelor's degrees in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and Temple University.
