Eric Wellner

Eric Wellner is a seasoned chemical toxicologist with extensive experience in the life sciences, particularly within "Big Pharma" and the medical device industry. They have held various leadership roles at AstraZeneca from 2008 to 2023, including Director and Team Manager, where they led diverse teams of scientists in drug and medical device development. Prior to AstraZeneca, Eric served as a Team Manager at Mölnlycke Health Care and the Head of Section at Active Biotech. They completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at the University of Kaiserslautern and are currently engaged in studies at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau. Eric's passion for science drives their commitment to improving patient lives through innovative solutions.
