Feiran Lu, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at AstraZeneca, specializing in Hematology Discovery since 2023. Previously, as a Postdoctoral Fellow and later a Research Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 2011 to 2016, Feiran led research on cholesterol transport genes and protein engineering under the guidance of Nobel Laureates Michael S. Brown and Joseph L. Goldstein, contributing to significant publications in renowned scientific journals. Feiran earned a PhD in Structural Biology from Tsinghua University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Shandong University.
