Frances Jones is currently the Director of Tissue Diagnostics in Precision Medicine at AstraZeneca. They previously held the position of Associate Director for Precision Medicine & Biosamples at the same company from 2020 to 2022. Frances also served as a Trial Coordinator at Keele University between 2015 and 2016 and worked as a Senior Scientist in Precision Medicine & Biosamples. Prior to that, they completed a postdoctoral research position at the University of Glasgow from 2013 to 2015, focusing on the impact of COL4A1 mutations in vascular, eye, and kidney disease. Frances earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and a PhD in Structural Biophysics from Cardiff University.
