Fred Arce Vargas

Fred Arce Vargas is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in oncology and translational medicine. With a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Universidad de Costa Rica and a PhD in Immunology and Cellular Pathology from University College London, Fred has held significant roles including Medical Director of Cell Therapy in Early Global Development at AstraZeneca, and previously served as Associate Director and Director of Translational Medicine at Autolus Therapeutics. Fred's clinical experience includes serving as a specialist in surgical oncology and general surgery at various hospitals, including Hospital Dr. Calderon Guardia and Hospital San Juan de Dios. Fred also contributed to research as a Visiting Research Fellow at The Rockefeller University and worked as a Research Associate at University College London.
