Gábor Máté is currently the Medical Therapeutic Area Lead for Rare Diseases in Central Europe at AstraZeneca, a position held in 2023. Previously, Gábor managed rare diseases in Hungary and served in various roles at Pfizer and The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, including Safety Officer Jr. and Local Safety Officer. Gábor earned a Doctor of Pharmacy and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences, both with honors, from the University of Debrecen, and is pursuing an MBA in Economics at Eötvös Loránd University.
