Galit Alter

Galit Alter is a seasoned professional currently serving as the VP of Early Vaccines and Therapies at AstraZeneca since 2025. Previously, they held the position of VP of Immunology Research at Moderna from 2022 to 2024 and worked as a Scientific Officer at Systems Seromics from 2019 to 2022. Galit's academic journey includes significant research roles, including Postdoctoral Researcher at the Partners AIDS Research Center and Associate Professor at the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT, and Harvard. Galit initiated their academic career as an undergraduate and later completed their doctoral studies focusing on T cell immune responses in acute HIV infection.
