Gary Doherty is the Global Clinical Head of Late Development Oncology R&D at AstraZeneca, a position held since 2024. Previously, they served as a Global Clinical Program Lead at the same company from 2022 to 2024. Gary was a Consultant Medical Oncologist at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from 2018 to 2022, and they held the role of Clinical Lecturer at the University of Cambridge from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, Gary is currently Dean at Robinson College, Cambridge. They have an extensive educational background, including a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Cambridge and studies at Harvard University as a Henry Fellow.
