Georgina Bowyer

Georgina Bowyer is currently the Associate Director of Clinical I-O Discovery at AstraZeneca, having joined the team as a Senior Scientist in August 2022. Georgina completed a PhD in Vaccine Immunology at the University of Oxford and served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, focusing on kidney-resident immune populations. Prior to this, Georgina gained six years of experience as a Research Assistant on clinical trials for malaria and Ebola vaccines at The Jenner Institute, where they contributed to the analysis of human immune responses. Alongside research, Georgina has also trained scientists in Kenya and Sierra Leone.
